She also works with several young companies, advising executives on cloud security and go to market strategy, from Fortune 100 banks to biotech start-ups. Through her leadership, Merritt framed Lacework as a “needle mover” by developing a CISO framework for SEC materiality determinations, frequently cited by the Wall Street Journal. She has worked in both the US government and private sectors, and is a tech speaker and writer.
